Lightning Ridge Bore Baths

Lightning Ridge Bore Baths have warm artesian waters rich in potassium salts, which are therapeutic for tired and aching muscles.

The water is piped from a sub artesian basin, 900 metres below the surface and flows at a rate of 20 litres per second.

The best time of year to visit the baths is during the winter months as the average temperature is 42 degrees Celsius.
