Barrier Range Sculpture SymposiumThis tour takes up to six people by four wheel drive into the Living Desert Area to the famous Sculpture Symposium. 12 sandstone sculptures on top of a hill overlooking magnificent Outback scenery with a 360 degrees view of the sunset, 11 kilometres north of Broken Hill. Departs one hour before sunset, duration is one and a half hours. History and Royal Flying Doctor BaseThis tour runs at 9.00am or 1.30pm starting from the Broken Hill Visitor Information Centre. You're going all around town, visiting the original BHP fire place, the Turks picnic train attack (1915) site, the first grave (1884), the Royal Flying Doctor Base (extra fees apply for tour) and other points of interest. Silverton - Sunset Mundi Mundi PlainsMundi-Mundi Plains (as far as the eye can see), a walk around the old mining town of Silverton (once a population of 4000), Andy the Coin Carver, Gaol Museum, Art Galleries, Craft Shops and a beer in the Silverton Pub (see where the movies were filmed).
