Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre
At the Borambola Centre guests can experience rural life at first hand, including horse riding, bushwalking, sheep shearing, and genuine country hospitality. Set on 220 hectares of farmland on the red gum banks of Tarcutta Creek, the Centre has more than 25 different activities to keep guests occupied. Or you can just put your feet up in the peaceful rural setting.
There are several campsites along the creek where guests can study the native flora and fauna. The Centre's other features include a swimming pool, mini golf course, tennis courts, artificial climbing wall, grass ski slope, a billabong with canoeing area and fishing in the creek.
The Centre is 25 kilometres east of Wagga Wagga in South Western New South Wales and is halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. The region boasts historic buildings, botanic gardens and Riverina wineries to explore. Borambola also caters for conference groups, with its own conference equipment including video, video camera and overhead projector.
