The building has been fully restored with lots of interesting curios mixed with modern touches. Guests often comment that it is like a home away from home for them. The town is full of history and charm offering a quiet retreat for historic exploration. Lockhart is known as the 'Verandah Town' . Come and view the pavement which has local history engraved in it, the sculptures which are multiplying around town as a result of the Spirit of the Land Festival held the second weekend of October each year and Doris Golder Wool Art display in the local Museum.

Victorian mahogany dressing table and walnut wardrobe add to the opulence and granduer of this wonderful room.
