Black Stump Hotel

The Black Stump Hotel was built in 1926 on the original Cobb & Co Route from Carrathool. The Hotel is named after the Black Stump Legend of Mrs Barbara Blain, a bullocky's wife who was burnt to death. The Hotel has the tallest bar in Australia, and is well known for its warm hospitality.
