Rusconis Marble Masterpiece
Rusconis Marble Masterpiece is a cathedral in miniature containing 20,948 pieces of N.S.W marble, every piece cut, turned and polished by hand.
It took 28 years of spare time work to build, which he did not assemble until he carved all the pieces and it is not a replica of any other Cathedral.
Also displayed at the Tourist Centre is a scale model of St Marie`s Cathedral altar which Mr Rusconi worked on for several years outside of Paris.
Mr Rusconi also sculptured the Dog-on Tuckerbox monument.
