Thredbo Valley Horse Riding are second to none when it comes to horse riding in the Snowy Mountains. Come and join them and follow in the footsteps of the Man from Snowy River and explore the Australian High Country on horseback.
There are many horses to suit your style of riding, whether you are a crack hand with a horse or a beginner they have the horse just for you. They can show you many scenic views, visit remarkable wilderness areas through fern filled gullies, steep wooded ridges, cool alpine streams and meadows.
You choose how long you want to ride, one hour, two hours, half day or full day. Subject to numbers they have a daily ride early afternoon, call them for availability. Pony rides are also available for children.

1.5 Hour Trail RidesIdeal for all standards of riding. They will give you some instruction along the trail so you get the most out of your ride. Full Day RideA fantastic ride that is recommeded only for those who have more than 100 hours riding experience. This ride has everytihing from long cantering tracks along the river and creeks to bush riding through the scrub. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is provided. Around six hours in the saddle. Half Day RideThis ride is for intermediate to advanced riders. Around four hours on the trail. Includes morning or afternoon tea. Varied riding from open flats and gullies to steeper tree lined ranges with amazing views of the Thredbo Valley. One Hour Trail RideThis ride is designed for the kids and non-riders Nice and easy open trails. Two Hour Trail RideGreat ride for all standards with fabulous views of the Thredbo valley. This ride is designed for the riders that are comfortable on a horse as it has varying terrain. At times it can be vertically challenging. | |
