Kookaburra Hill is a contemporary architect-designed solar passive house on five acres. There is a solar heated in-ground salt water pool with stunning mountain views from the water. Families and children are welcome - come and stretch out and enjoy the solitude and acres of lawns. It is just a stone’s throw to Kangaroo Valley village but set back from the road. It has a purpose-built-3-bedroom self contained guest accommodation with a private entrance. Only a single booking is taken at any time for two to six guests. The accommodation has its own RC ducted AC/heating and hot water systems. The property ha pet ducks, chickens and two horses who love a pat over their fence and the littlest mare will come out and meet children and their parents on the front lawns.
House-trained dogs are welcome. Small and medium dogs may come into the living room with its stone floors, but cannot access carpeted areas for the protection of future guest. The front acres of park-like lawns are perfect for dogs to enjoy their marrow bone arrival present and for dog owners as these acres are securely fenced including the guest suite entrance and outdoor dining area..
Kookaburra Hill has luxury bedding and linen in two queen and one twin single bedrooms with crisp sheets, goose-down or wool duvets and luxury towels. The full bathroom has a corner spa with views of the garden. There is a living room with deep sofas and TV/DVD/video and a kitchenette with small oven, microwave, refrigerator and all you need to prepare and serve meals. The outdoor guest dining area, next to the pool, has a great gas BBQ and mobile refrigerator. The garden features more than 200 old fashioned roses.
