From the back verandah of Long Reef Beach House you can watch the pelicans
feeding in the shallows, spot the dolphins exploring the bay, or just read the
paper while keeping an eye on your kids playing in the water.
A short stroll in any direction will lead you to white sandy beaches, fabulous
swimming holes or great bush tracks for walking - one leads to the 1928 wreck
of the SS Merimbula.
The bay is an ideal location for windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and
kayaking. For those keen on fishing there is an easily accessible boat ramp
nearby, as well as numerous rock and beach locations to throw in a line.
