Bendalong Beach
Beautiful Bendalong's blue ribbon surf spots are Inyadda Beach and Green Island (off Cunjurong Point), both magnets for surf-about travellers in NSW so, when the surf's up, they tend to draw a crowd.
Due to its forgiving nature, Boat Ramp is popular with local kids and tourists from nearby Bendalong Tourist Park. Washerwoman’s Beach at Bendalong is northeast facing, looking towards the southern headland of Jervis Bay in the distance, and in a southeaster though this is one of the few spots in the area that stays pretty clean.
A colony of giant stingrays inhabit this bay and they’re a bit of a tourist attraction in their own right. Bendalong itself is a small and sleepy village whose holiday houses and three caravan parks swell the population around school holidays. A busy day here means sharing the beach with handfuls (as opposed to hundreds) of people, and outside of holiday times you can be assured of a stroll on the sand in solitude
