Eucalypt Trail

The Eucalypt Trail is located 14 km north of Batemans Bay on the Eastern side of the Prince Highway, in the Kiola Rest area.

An easy 500-metre loop, the Eucalypt Trail is designed to assist visitors to identify eleven different species of Eucalypt trees using common and botanical names, flowers and fruits.

The eleven Eucalypt species to be found include the Blackbutt, Sydney Blue Gum, Grey Ironbark, Monkey Gum, Rough Barked Apple, Sydney Peppermint, Red Bloodwood, Wodlybutt, White Stringybark, Spotted Gum, and Bangalay.

The rest area incorporates public amenities, barbecues and picnic tables so visitors can take a short rest stop for lunch, following their Eucalypt Trail adventure.
