Tallowa Dam

Tallowa Dam is a major part of the Shoalhaven water scheme and is situated at the junction of the Kangaroo and Shoalhaven Rivers, approximately 23 kilometres from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley township. Tallowa Dam supplements the Sydney water supply.

Tallowa Dam picnic area is closed for construction of the Tallowa Dam environmental flow infrastructure and fish passage works until mid 2009.

Limited access has been maintained for canoeists and bushwalkers.
