Naturewise Montague Island Conservation Tours
Naturewise Montague Island Conservation Tours invites you to stay overnight in the beautifully restored heritage guesthouse which was once the Head
Lighthouse Keepers Quarters and experience this beautiful Nature Reserve of Montague Island as part of the two night tour.
Just 80 hectares in size Montague Island is a nature lover's paradise. Watch thousands of seals as they crowd the rocks and play in crystal blue waters,
tour the island with your National Parks and Wildlife guide, visit the operating lighthouse, watch majestic humpback whales during whale migration, relax
taking in coastal views and spend your evenings watching colourful sunsets, endless stars and little penguins coming ashore.
A unique part of your visit to the island is the option to spend a few hours helping to protect the 30,000 seabirds which nest and breed on the island, by
contributing towards the sea bird habitat restoration project.
Operating since 2005, these multi tourism award winning and Advanced Ecotourism Certified tours are fully- hosted and operated in partnership with
Conservation Volunteers and National Parks and Wildlife Service.
