Full-day & overnight tripsAs for the the half day trips but with more food. We offer gourmet wilderness experiences. Beyond bringing a hat, waterbottle and sunscreen as for the day and half-day trips, the overnight trips just require you to bring a towel and sleeping bag. Lodge-based and camping options are available. Half Day Kayak AdventuresExperience the satisfaction, silence and tranquility of sea kayaking. Travel at your own pace...interact with local marine life and watch ocean birds. Whether you're an experienced paddler or a novice, this trip is always a crowd pleaser. First-time paddlers are regular visitors on our half-day tours. Instructional session and morning or afternoon tea provided. All you need is a hat, water-bottle and sunscreen. $80 per person. Half-day AdventuresAll trips include a 25 minute instructional session prior to departure. Half-day trips usually run from 8am-12noon & 1pm-5pm. Morning/afternoon tea is provided, so all you need to bring is a hat, waterbottle and sunscreen. We have dry-bags for cameras, towels and swimwear if desired. Great wildlife seen on most trips. We offer trips to suit first-timers to experienced paddlers. At Ocean Wilderness "you don't have to be fit to kayak.... you've just got to fit in the kayak!!"...... and ;" the slower you go.... the more you see!!" We often see dolphins, fur seals and fairy penguins. Our kayaks are expedition-style sea kayaks, not the cheap imitation sit-on-top type. They are safe, stable, comfortable and easy to use. You can paddle in the comfort of your own clothes and travel to places accessable only by sea kayak. The guide will tailor each trip to suit your needs and the the needs of the group.
