pleasure cruises there is something for everyone. Working out of beautiful Eden Harbour with no dangerous bar crossing and easy access to the open
ocean.
The vessel 'Connemara', is a classic 38 foot Randell, is licensed to carry up to 12 passengers and is equipped with all the modern conveniences. Serving
homemade morning tea on all charters you will be looked after by our experienced and friendly crew making your trip one to remember.

Bird WatchingExperience the many and varied species of birds sighted on our pelagic trips out and around Eden, to as far as the continental shelf, on oard 'Connemara' the only vessel on the South Coast to cater for the enthusiastic bird watchers. Among the species sighted are the Great-Winged Petrel, Shearwater, Albatross, Pomarine, Arctic Jaegers, Black-faced Cormorants and many more. Dive Charters - South Coast Dive ChartersDive the Tasman Hauler and the Henry Bolte Tugs in Eden. See the leafy sea dragons and lots more aboard 'Connemara'. Tea, coffee and hot soup provided. Game Fishing - South Coast Fishing ChartersCome aboard and experience the thrill of a lifetime chasing the mighty Marlin, Yellow Fin Tuna, Broadbill and Sharks. Our game fishing season starts in January and runs through till the end of June. Trolling lures and live baiting and cubing for tuna. Reef Fishing - South Coast Fishing ChartersWelcome to Snapper country, reef fishing at its best. With good numbers of Snapper caught on almost every trip, along with Morwong, Leather Jackets, Parrot Fish, Wrasse and the ever popular Flathead. Eden fishes well all year round on the inshore reefs with wide reef trips also available during February, March and April, chasing Tasmanian Trumpeter, Morwong, Ocean Perch and Shark. Whale WatchingThe whales on the South Coast begin to appear in late September and continue through to the end of November during their yearly migration south to the Antarctic. It really is an opportunity not to be missed. To be out on the water in full view of these magnificent creatures as they feed in our waters. Among the varieties of whales seen are the Humpbacks, along with their calves, Orcas and sometimes Blue Whales. They put on a great display leaping clear out of the water, breaching and just generally observing them in their natural habitat. There is also plenty of marine animals to see on these tours such as Dolphins, Seals and Penguins. | |
