The Loft and Rocking Horse Lodge is a home/farm stay bed and breakfast in the homestead on the first floor loft. The charming double wrought and brass
bed is made up with plenty of covers and pillows. The dining nook features an antique tilt top table, tea & coffee making facilities & fabulous views to the
Hawkesbury River overlooking old turf farms now home to a horses and cattle.
The Federation en suite features a claw foot bath, pedestal basin, exposed brass plumbing, lots of thick towels is ideal for a candlelit, bubbly soak.
Reading corner boasts an 1870’s Dexter Rocker and matched cane footstool. Read or snooze we don’t mind what you do. The sitting area overlooks the
entry atrium and is the perfect place to have a cuppa and put your feet up.
At Rocking Horse Lodge you will experience traditional country hospitality at its best. Viktoria and Chris will welcome you to their lovely home and are both
full time rocking horse makers/restorers and teachers and will happily provide you with every thing you wanted to know about antique rocking horses and
their making.
Things to Do: Participate in the farm activities, view the Childhood Wares and Rocking Horse Museum on the premises, visit historic Windsor and Richmond
or make a rocking horse over a three day weekend.
