Rustic Spirit
The Rustic Spirit is set in 25 acres of bushland but is only 90 minutes from Sydney. It is like another world, no urban sounds only the sound of the gum
leaves rustling in the wind.
The cottages have everything you could want, a wood fire, gas barbecue, plenty of candles a large breakfast hamper including eggs from resident chooks,
a full kitchen and queen size bed. The cottages have all your linen, firewood and birdseed for the rosellas and king parrots that visit.
The bathrooms have a double spa and separate shower with plenty of bubble bath and heated towels to complete the picture. Flint Hill and Pik's have large
bathroom windows looking into the bush. It is wonderful to indulge yourself in the spa with just the candles glowing inside and the garden lights in the bush
outside the window. These two cottages have a half wall in the bedroom so you can lie in bed looking across the living area through the glass wall and into
the tree tops.
Each cottage has its own charm, Paddock Cottage is located adjacent to the horse paddock where our two horses graze. Flint Hill and Pik's are built on a
rock ledge right in the bush.
The cottages all have large verandahs that catch winter sun and lounges for the ultimate in relaxation.
In the evenings you can feel the crisp clean air on your face, whilst listing to the sounds of the night on your candle lit verandah - the gas barbecue
makes this the perfect spot to prepare a meal.
We are close to wonderful restaurants and menus are in the cottages so you can browse these before making a decision! Mt. Tomah Cold Climate Gardens
and of course Mt. Wilson are a few kilometres up the road and are well worth a visit.
You are welcome to wander the grounds, feed the ducks on the dam and of course the horses love some bread too. We even have a very small waterfall,
which increases in volume every time in rains - a short walk down our fire trail will take you to this area which really does seem to be in another world.
