Mount Annan Botanic Garden
Mount Annan Botanic Garden is the Australian native plant garden of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney. It covers 410 hectares, making it the largest botanic garden in Australia and the most visited tourism attraction in the Macarthur area.
The plantings are designed to display the diversity of Australian flora and will eventually include many of our 25,000 known plant species. The Garden is also one of the premier outdoor events venues in South West Sydney. The Garden hosts Campbelltown City Challenge Walk in March, the Autumn Plant Sale (famous in Sydney for the sale of native plants) in April as well as several other events.
See also 'Sculpture in the Garden' including the Sundial of Human Involvement, the Federation Flannel Flower Maze and other ephemeral garden sculptures.
Facilities include: picnic areas, free barbecues, walking trails, Garden Shop and The Garden's Restaurant.
