Located just 12 minutes from the city by ferry, across the world's most spectacular harbour, award winning Taronga Zoo is an experience not to be missed.
Enjoy, the amazing Free Flight Bird Show held in the Zoo's amphitheatre or the inclusive Sky Safari ride which offers panoramic views of Sydney Harbour as
well as Taronga's animals Special photo sessions with our Koalas from 11am till 3pm. Keeper talks, animal shows and feedings throughout the day the Zoo
has over 2000 rare and endangered animals including Western Lowland Gorillas, Sumatran Tigers, Kodiak Bears, Giraffes, Chimpanzees, five Asian
Elephants and many more.
Taronga’s most sensational display ever, Wild Asia, is a complete Asian Rainforest with 10 different exhibits. You will meet all manner of forest creatures
from the sleepy Binturong to the agile Fishing Cat. Gaze under water into the stream that is home to the Malayan Tapir and the busy oriental Small-Clawed
Otter.
Taronga also offers close-up experiences with Australia's unique wildlife in the Streets Creatures of the Wollemi exhibit. This bushwalk experience is home
to over 200 native animals local to the Blue Mountains. See platypus, echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and birds.
