Nurragingy Reserve
Nurragingy Reserve is a passive recreation and bushland area of 90 hectares in the heart of the city of Blacktown and Western Sydney.
The Reserve offers the following attractions and facilities: Picnic and barbecue area (with wood supplied), children's playground, walking tracks, waterfall, natural bushland (ideal for nature studies), Fred Hollows Garden (a garden for the visually impaired), the Colebee Centre, Nurragingy Blacksmith, Pavilions, Formal Garden and Wedding Garden Areas, as well as toilet facilities.
The Colebee Centre is an ideal venue for all types of functions and conferences.
Devonshire teas can be arranged and provided for midweek pre-arranged bus tour and a kiosk is open on the weekend.
Every weekend, Mr Gordon Blackwell, The Narragingy Blacksmith, demonstrates hand-forged and traditional blacksmithing to the public.
