The 'Q' Theatre is the largest and most successful regional theatre in Australia. For over thirty years the company has presented the very best in theatre performances and is, without question, one of Australia’s great theatre treasures. The 'Q' theatre is a professional modern 380 seat drama theatre and has well-known and local artists perform comedy, drama and thriller plays on a regular basis.
The Q Theatre Company was formerly Railway Street Theatre Company and originally based at the AMP Theatrette at Circular Quay in Sydney.
In 2009 the Q presents the very best in Australian (and international) theatre with a mix of comedy, drama, circus, Indigenous theatre, dance and musical mayhem! Featuring Belarus Free Theatre, Bell Shakespeare, Circus Oz, Company B, Ensemble Theatre, HotHouse Theatre, Sydney Theatre Company (and a helluva lot more).
