Blue Mountains Day TourHighlights: Wildlife, Wentworth Falls, Furber Stairs, Three sisiters Jamison Valley, Scenic Railway ITINERARY Heading out of Sydney, you pass by Sydney Olympic Park to our first stop, where we'll check out wild Eastern Grey Kangaroos in native bushlands. A 2-3 hour walk at Wentworth Falls takes you up to see the waterfall, with a couple of lookout points along the way. The surrounds are pretty magnificent! You'll walk through the changing vegetation, with hanging swamps and rock ledges which showcase the dramatic Blue Mountains. Lunch is a nutritious selection including fruit, sandwiches and salads, and it's included in your tour. After lunch, we walk down the historic Furber Stairs (all 860 of them!) into Jamison Valley through World Heritage rainforest, past the beautiful Katoomba Falls. The Blue Mountains are famous for the rock formations of the ‘Three Sisters', which you'll have a chance to look at. From the bottom of the Jamison Valley, you jump aboard the Scenic Railway and take a ride back up to the valley rim.
