4WD Blue Mountains ExplorerEscape to the wilderness and enjoy unsurpassed beauty in the Blue Mountains on our specialist four wheel drive small group tour. Enjoy panoramas of rugged cliffs and deep forest valleys. Hear the calls of native birds and look for Australian wildlife. Experience a gentle off road adventure, a tour that allows time to relax and experience the true essence of the Blue Mountains. The tour leaves Sydney via the Sydney Harbour Bridge and into Featherdale Wildlife Park for a close up view of one of the best collection of Australian animals. After passing through fertile farmland known as the "fruit bowl", the historic early settlement town of Richmond and crossing the Hawkesbury River, we wander along the Bells Line of Road. Breathe in the invigorating scent of the Australian Eucalyptus as we travel into the Burralow Creek National Park, a young river Canyon. A short walk along this trail will reveal towering Eucalypts, Red Gums, Grass Trees and other varieties of Australian Flora. Access to this area is restricted and one of the highlights of our tour. Enjoy the forest canopy with its Kookaburras and the unique songs of the many other wild native birds. Your guide will interpret the Fauna and Flora encountered, Aboriginal history and demonstrate the Didgeridoo. We then travel on to Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens for lunch. Thousands of flowers and a million flavours! The Restaurant is located within the manicured surrounds of Mount Tomah Botanic Gardens. As if it weren't enough to be surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Botanic Garden and its gorgeous flowers, shrubs and trees, Restaurant Tomah sits perched on a ridge overlooking a seemingly endless vista stretching as far as the Hunter Valley and chaperoned by the Blue Mountains themselves. A large terrace and the plate glass windows of the Restaurant interior allow diners to imbibe this glorious view of the Wollemi National Park, but the experience is not limited to a visual one. Mt Tomah is situated in Bilpin on the Bells Line of Road, the quiet side of the Blue Mountains, less than 1.5hrs from Sydney. In an area of World Heritage Wilderness, surrounded by orchards, it is a perfect place to quietly refresh body and spirit. After lunch, soak up magnificent views of Govetts Leap Lookout, then the Jamieson Valley, and the Three Sisters famous rock formation and Scenic Railway optional (cost not included). AM City SightsThe morning Half Day Sydney Sights tour is a perfect option for those who have a tight schedule or those who don't wish to be on tour for a full day. This tour is a thorough introduction to Sydney and its neighbours. Travel to Manly Beach for a wonderful stroll along The Corso to see the beach that has made Manly famous. Along the way to Manly, you will view Darling Harbour and then cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Stop at Milsons Point for spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Enjoy views from Seaforth Lookout and stop at Arabanoo Lookout for a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy your time at Manly beach before heading back to Sydney via the exclusive and trendy suburbs of Neutral Bay and Mosman. You may choose to upgrade to include a luncheon cruise to create a perfect end to the day. Conclude your morning tour at either King Street Wharf or Circular Quay. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback. Pass by Homebush Bay, site of the 2000 Olympics. Discover Leura village, a delightful blend of groomed gardens and quaint shops, enjoy free time to wander the streets of Leura. Next, we stop at Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation and hear the ancient Aboriginal legends of this impressive rock formation. Arrive at Scenic World and join the optional Blue Mountain rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). These rides are a great way to see the steep valleys, canyons and Three Sisters rock formation. Enjoy a short stop at Narrowneck and Cahill Lookouts for impressive mountain scenery. Next we enjoy an afternoon encounter at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins. Our last stop will be at Homebush Bay, the venue of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Here, you have the opportunity to catch the rivercat ferry back to Sydney and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Parramatta River (own expense). If you do not wish to join the ferry, the coach will arrive in Sydney at approximately 5.45pm. Hotel drop offs to most city hotels are available; your Coach Captain will ask you at the end of the day where you would like to be dropped off. Canberra ExplorerTake in all of the highlights of this ultra modern and planned city, with its contemporary architecture set among beautifully maintained gardens and parks. Gain an insight into the workings of the capital and of Australia. Stretch your legs during a morning break near quaint Berrima. Join a private guided tour of the National Museum of Australia and discover Canberra's salute to all that is Australian, from our diverse cultural mix to current icons such as the famous Hills Hoist. Enjoy a private guided tour of Parliament House. Have the opportunity to view the upper or lower Houses of Parliament (when in session), see The Lodge, the Prime Ministers residence and travel the pretty tree-lined streets and view diplomatic homes and embassies of many foreign ambassadors, reflecting their fascinating cultures and architecture. See Captain Cook Memorial Fountain, the National Library and the High-Court, view Carillons beautiful bell tower and the gardens of Commonwealth Park. Hear the history of the ANZAC as we travel along the boulevard dedicated to the participants of two world wars and visit the Australian War Memorial, home to an interesting display of war-relics. Travel to the summit of Mt Ainslie for a terrific view of Canberra and surrounds. Hunter Valley Wine TasterExplore the fertile Hunter Valley and taste award-winning regional foods and wines. Enjoy private vineyard inspections and learn of the winemaking process. Spend your time strolling amongst the vineyards, purchase some wines, or just enjoy the beautiful Australian countryside. Be treated to magnificent views of the Hawkesbury River in the morning. See the remains of a convict built road winding into the Hunter Valley and stroll around historic Wollombi Village. Home to Australia's oldest wine producing region, the Hunter Valley owes its fame to world class viticulturalists and fertile soils. Enjoy a private wine tasting experience at world renowned Lindemans, then visit Hunter Resort and enjoy a presentation on how the winery operates, a truly informative and educational experience. A delicious luncheon is accompanied by wine tastings – your two-course lunch will be complimented with specially chosen wines. Have the opportunity to visit Bluetongue Brewery, home of Bluetongue Beer and perhaps try a tasting paddle of the available varities (own expense). Further tastings include a visit to Oakvale Winery – be sure to taste their Australian wines. Our last stop will take you to Hunter Valley Gardens, a quaint little township within the Hunter Valley. Have free time to explore the many hidden delights in the garden village. You have the opportunity to try further tastings at the Hunter Valley Cellars. After departing Hunter Valley Gardens we head back to Sydney via Freeman's Waterhole and the Expressway to arrive approximately at 6:15pm. Jenolan CavesDiscover the World Heritage treasures of Blue Mountains National Park and the breathtaking natural wonders of the Jenolan Caves. Nestled on the western side of the Blue Mountains, this extensive network of limestone caves and above-ground arches are Australia's most impressive. Pass by the Sydney Olympic Park at Homebush Bay. Climb the western mountain highway via the sleepy townships Blaxland, Leura, Wentworth and Lawson, Katoomba the quaint capital of the Blue Mountains National Park and get away destination for holiday-makers. Enjoy views over stunning eucalypt forests and age-old rock formations as you travel through the scenic Blue Mountains, and learn ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime interpretations of the creation of the world. Time to ride aboard either the Skyway, Scenic Railway or Cableway ( own expense). Enter the Grand Arch at Jenolan Caves, hiding place of sparkling limestone caverns. Take in the beauty of the region and see the mysterious Blue Lake. Join an informative and fully guided Cave tour through one of either the Lucas, Imperial or Chifley Caves. Relax amid the comfort and ambience of Caves House, originally a 1920s holiday retreat for Sydney's rich and famous. Watch for native wildlife among the quiet bush land, the deep caves and great valley. Learn the folklore of the intrepid settlers and legendary bushrangers of this region. Depart Jenolan Caves for your direct drive back to Sydney. Jervis Bay Dolphin ExperienceEnjoy a day full of memorable highlights. Stop at the scenic Ball Hill Lookout and enjoy traditional Aussie Billy tea. Continue along the south coast taking in the views of the South Pacific Ocean, Wollongong and the Sea Cliff Bridge. Hug the coastline as you drive over the Sea Cliff Bridge. Continue the coastal journey to view the Kiama Blowhole, an unusual natural phenomenon that sprays plumes of water up to heights of 60 metres into the air. See great Australian surf beaches, the picturesque southern New South Wales coastline and pretty holiday townships along your coastal journey. Cruise the pristine, protected waters of Jervis Bay. You have the opportunity to see playful pods of wild dolphins leap and spin from the sea. Enjoy a cold salad lunch on board your vessel Tekin III, a purpose built and very stable catamaran with three viewing levels and a special bow mounted camera. Watch for marine life from your cruise vessel. Whales occasionally visit this area on their migration between September and December. Travel through the Southern Highlands, with its native temperate rainforest and hard working rural communities. Many towns boast mansions and beautiful gardens, a legacy to their commercial success. Travel to picturesque Kangaroo Valley and the towering sandstone cliffs and valleys of Morton National Park. Enjoy your free time to explore this quaint township. Tour through the Southern Highlands town of Bowral, home of the late Sir Donald Bradman (famous cricketer) and the colourful annual Tulip Time Festival. In rare circumstances the itinerary may alter due to seasonal tidal conditions. PM City SightsThe afternoon half day Downtown Sydney, Bondi and Kings Cross Tour is a perfect option for those who have a tight schedule or those who don't wish to be on tour for a full day. This tour is a thorough introduction to Sydney and its neighbours. Stop at the renowned Mrs. Macquarie's Chair and The Gap for magnificent photo views. Enjoy the bohemian beat of lively Kings Cross, admire the white sands of Bondi Beach and other eastern beaches, and discover the beauty of gracious harbourside suburbs. Glimpse the city's historic and contemporary flavour in one afternoon. Once your coach tour is completed, your coach captain will drop you off at selected hotels in the city. Port Stephens Dunes and DolphinsDiscover the beautiful North Coast region of Port Stephens, with its diverse blue water paradise, its pristine waterways, golden sandy beaches, and its eco diverse marina and National Parks. Nature is the centre of all that is Port Stephens and is the perfect escape from cosmopolitan Sydney. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and tour through the leafy and affluent northern suburbs, travel over the Hawkesbury River, a holiday hub for boat lovers. Arrive at The Australian Reptile Park, loaded with unique exhibits and animals. Enter ‘Lost World of Reptiles' and journey into ancient pasts, reminiscent of an Indiana Jones movie scene and Spider World with spiders that are HUGE, HAIRY & SCARY! See platypus, Tasmanian Devils, wombats, friendly kangaroos, cuddly koalas, giant crocodiles. We then head to Port Stephens. You will have approximately 1 hour to purchase lunch (own expense) before you will need to join the dolphin watch cruise. The cruise will depart from Nelson Bay Marina at 1.30pm. Search for the pods of bottlenose dolphins. Watch as they play on the bow waves or why not ride the boom net and get close to our friendly visitors. Upon docking at the Marina, we will make our way to meet with the 1hr 4WD tour on the sand dunes. Experience the grandeur and tranquility of the local desert wilderness, environmental and historical sights. You may also like to try sand-boarding, a thrill you will not forget. Upon disembarking the 4WD tour, you will board the coach for your return transfer back to Sydney. Sydney in Style TrioStart your day on the spectacular Sydney Harbour. Whilst enjoying your buffet lunch, experience the remarkable charm and style of Sydney from the luxury of a catamaran cruising on the harbour. Once your lunch cruise docks, you will be escorted by a cruise representative to join your coach tour. Depart at 2:30pm and travel through Sydney's bustling city precincts. Stop at the renowned Mrs. Macquarie's Chair and The Gap for magnificent photo views. Enjoy the bohemian beat of lively Kings Cross, admire the white sands of Bondi Beach and other eastern beaches, and discover the beauty of gracious harbourside suburbs. Glimpse the city's historic and contemporary flavour in one afternoon. Once your coach tour is completed, your coach captain will drop you off for your dinner reservation at approximately 6:15pm. At the conclusion of dinner you are free to make own way back to hotel your hotel at your leisure. Sydney with the Works - Captain Cook Lunch CruiseThe Sydney Sights with the Works is a thorough introduction to Sydney and its neighbours. This tour combines both morning and afternoon tours to create a full day tour of Sydney sightseeing. In the morning, you will travel to Manly Beach for a wonderful stroll along The Corso to see the beach that had made Manly famous. Along the way to Manly, you will view Darling Harbour and then cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Stop at Milsons Point for spectacular views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Enjoy views from Seaforth Lookout and stop at Arabanoo Lookout for a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy your time at Manly beach before heading back to Sydney.
