Bondi Beach AdventureVisit Sydney's famous Bondi beach but experience it in a new and unique way. After meeting at the Sydney Urban Adventures office at 8.45am, you'll head to Circular Quay to take a public bus to Bronte Beach. And with your guide, just like the locals stroll along the famous Bronte to Bondi cliff-top walk taking in spectacular views, possible whale sightings (in season), Aboriginal rock art, Tamarama beach and Bondi's historic sea bath. Arriving at Bondi Beach there's plenty of time to explore. You'll arrive in time for those that choose to be ready to start their surfing lesson. Once in Bondi your tour guide will give you a brief tour of Bondi. You will then have time to experience Bondi's beach culture and check out the Aussie surf life savers. Wander past the glitzy boutiques and cafes or perhaps grab some fish and chips and kick back on the beach. The tour finishes here and you can return to the city with the guide or stay at your leisure as long as you like. Harbour Island AdventureHere's a novel way to experience Sydney - see its best known attractions from a unique perspective. After an orientation of what Sydney offers, head to Cockatoo Island for an evening camping and gazing at the city lights and stars, then wake up smack bang in Sydney Harbour to enjoy one of the world's best breakfast views! Imagine camping overnight and exploring one of Sydney's unique harbour islands. Cockatoo Island was an ex-convict prison, nowadays a National Park and sometimes film set. Your expert local guide will host your overnight stay, providing a tour of the island, providing a true Aussie barbeque and sharing some stories of this unique place. Soak up the sunset and sunrise over the famous harbour city, for an experience you will never forget. Meet at the Sydney Urban Adventure office in the Rocks at 2pm for the start of the tour, returning mid morning the following day. Manly Beach and Harbour AdventureMost people take a ferry ride to Manly and think they've seen it all, but this gateway to Sydney's beautiful Northern beaches has so much more to offer. Why not make a day of it? Take this half day guided tour enjoying a scenic walk along the Harbour foreshore from Spit Bridge, then drink in the spectacular views of Manly over a leisurely lunch (at own expense). Enjoy a free afternoon to explore independently, surfing, shopping, cycling, sunbathing ... Manly's got the lot. After meeting at the Sydney Urban Adventures store at 8.30am, you will take a public bus to Spit Bridge, where you'll commence your guided walk. This famous 10 kilometre scenic walk offers stunning views along the Harbour foreshore. Arriving in Manly at approximately 12:30pm, treat yourself to lunch (own expense) at one of Manly's many restaurants and cafes. The afternoon is free to explore everything that Manly has to offer. Check out the shops and relax on the famous beach. Perhaps rent a bike and go up to North Head and along the beach front, or a surfing class with Manly Surf School (additional costs). There are no further activities and you can return any time of the day or night by ferry to Circular Quay. Rocks Bridge and Bay Bike TourGrab a bike and let's go exploring - cycle through the historic Rocks area of Sydney before heading across the Bridge to explore the North Shore. Experience riding through Sydney's oldest streets and learn some of the history as you wind your way through the historical Rocks area. From there it is up and over the Sydney Harbour Bridge - what a thrill! Once arriving on the North Shore, ride around Kirribilli and past some of Sydney's most expensive real estate - we will even check out the Prime Minister's house. Wind your way down to the water front and ride past Luna Park into Lavender Bay, with a stop for some morning/afternoon tea. From here, we turn for home and make our way back across the Bridge and into the Rocks. The ride is reasonably easy and comfortable with plenty of stops along the way to capture all the great shots on your camera. The tour departs from the Sydney Urban Adventures office at 9am and 2pm daily and takes about three hours. Sydney Explorer Bike TourGrab a bike and go exploring - cycle past all of Sydney's major icons in this half day bike tour. Experience riding across the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge, through the historical Rocks area, check out the Sydney Opera House before making your way past the Botanical Gardens and down to Mrs Macquarie's Point. Then head up to Hyde Park and through the city to Darling Harbour before heading back down to the Rocks. Sydney has so many fantastic sights and you will see them all on this great ride around Sydney. While you need have a medium level of fitness, the ride is not too challenging, with plenty of stops along the way to capture all the great shots on your camera. At the end of the ride, finish off with a nice cold drink in a great Aussie Pub. To begin the tour meet at The Sydney Urban Adventures office at 8.45am. Sydney Harbour SecretsSydney's famous harbour is way too gorgeous just to look at - so spend an idyllic half day getting to know it like a local. Explore the beautiful north shore of Sydney Harbour taking a unique walking track through the bush around Sydney Harbour's north side with spectacular views of the city skyline as you have never seen it before. After meeting your guide at the Sydney Urban Adventures office at 8.45am, take a ferry to Taronga Zoo Wharf and then start on an incredible, scenic eight kilometre walk along the north shoreline of Sydney Harbour - a secret part of Sydney known only to the locals. Enjoy magnificent harbour views and see some of Sydney's most expensive real estate. Stopping along the way for some morning tea at Chowder Bay, you'll also see Middle Head's cannons, which defended Sydney during wartime, before you descend to Balmoral Beach. Relax after the walk with a refreshing swim at Balmoral or enjoy a take-away lunch on the beach (own expense), and then head back to the city by local public bus. Sydney Harbour WalkStart your Sydney experience with a fun local orientation tour and get up close to all of Sydney's famous harbour icons, including the historic Rock's precinct, Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera House, and the stunning Botanic Gardens. The Rocks Pub TourJoin the Rocks Pub Tour to explore the winding lanes, convict-built cottages and cobblestone streets that characterise Sydney's historic Rocks area. Best of all, combine history with some of Australia's best pubs for a very unique walking tour! Find your own ‘local' to return to, learn about the long and fascinating history of this once-squalid area and end the evening with the chance to grab a tasty meal from one of the many great restaurants dotted throughout the twisting alleyways.
