40 DaysThe original length of time people were supposed to be quarantined for was 40 days. Our 40 Days interactive experience asks the question, 'What would happen if you were quarantined tomorrow?' Interactive and mentally stimulating, 40 Days is like a board game that covers the whole of Q Station's incredible site. Participants begin by watching an innocent group of Australian tourists returning home to face news that a sick passenger will require them all to go into quarantine. What does this mean in 2008? The group explores the site from the perspective of passengers from the steamship Niagara, quarantined in the 1920s. Enter the Niagara's cabins and take on the identity of a former passenger and find out if the way people used to be quarantined is still appropriate today. This is an experience full of twists and surprises that leaves you wondering just how far we have progressed in the last century.
