DAILY TOUR SERVICE with The Rocks Walking Tours

The Rocks Walking Tours brings alive the story of the early convict settlement while entertaining visitors with stories of Rascals, Rats, and Restoration. Our 90 minute tours are conducted by friendly and enthusiastic guides who, by relating the many tales of our colourful past, capture and hold the visitor's imagination. Let us show you some of Sydney's earliest buildings, shops old and new, homes of the 'well-to-do' and the quaint cottages of the working class. Still to be seen today are the pubs and hotels, once frequented by the locals and sailors alike and the haunts of larrikins and rogues. The many historic streets, narrow alleyways, cobbled lanes, sandstone steps and beautiful churches combine to weave a rich tapestry of life in the past and present times. Our Daily Tours of The Rocks depart from and finish at The Rocks Walking Tours' Office, conveniently located in the heart of The Rocks at 23 Playfair Street. Daily Tours depart Weekdays at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm and on Weekends/ Public Holidays at 11:30am and 2:00pm. * Please note in the month of January at 12:30pm is not operational * Offices are closed with no tours departing on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day & Good Friday

The Rocks Walking Tour's has been operating since 1978 and is proudly, the longest established specialist guided walking tour company not only in Sydney but Australia. In addition to our successful visitor service of daily tours within The Rocks our Educational Program was introduced in 1981, and that has seen us introduce generations of students to the importance of this area and its place in our history. The tours offered within our program are continually reviewed ensuring ongoing relevance to the current syllabus and Key Learning Area's (KLA) of: - Human Society and It's Environment (HSIE) - History - English - Religious Studies Our tours are conducted in a safe and stimulating environment by our qualified team of guides in the preserved 19th Century historic landscape of The Rocks Walking Tour's has been operating since 1978 and is proudly, the longest established specialist guided walking tour company not only in Sydney but Australia.
