Balmoral Sailing School
Balmoral Sailing School offers a range of sailing boats, windsurfing kits, kayaks and paddle boards to hire on Sydney Harbour.
To hire equipment, book in advance (this is necessary on the weekends) or just turn up at the branch at South Balmoral Beach and see if any equipment is available.
Kits are hired out from Monday to Sunday 9:00am-5:00pm and our staff are always on hand to help you rig the kit and launch from the beach.
Lessons in windsurfing, dinghy sailing, kayaking and stand up paddling are also available.

Watersports EquipmentA range of sailing boats, windsurfing kits, kayaks and paddle boards are available for hire for use on Sydney Harbour. Sailing boats include: Hobie wave (catamaran), Laser pico (dinghy) and Dart 16 (catamaran). Windsurfing kits are available for beginners through to advanced sailors. Boards include starboards, primes, primos, magnums, motions, novas and xantos. Sails range from 2.5 metres to 8 metres. (kids sails are also available) Kayaks for hire are open-top single and double kayaks. The cost of any hire includes the use of buoyancy aids (and/or harnesses). | |
