Ripples Houseboats has operated houseboats from Brooklyn on the Hawkesbury River for over 15 years.
They have 14 houseboats in their fleet and offer three styles of houseboats to meet your holiday needs.
The modern 45’ Cohercraft (Resort) houseboat sleeps four to ten people, the classic Fenwicks 35’ (Islander) houseboat which is ideal for couples and small families and sleeps two to four people, plus the more spacious Elite houseboat which sleeps up to eight.
All of their houseboats are fully equipped and come with a small tender - all you need to bring is bed linen, food and drink.
Their friendly staff will provide a comprehensive briefing followed by a driving lesson to ensure you have a relaxing trouble free holiday.

Elite Houseboat (37') 2 - eight berthThe Elite has lots of space. Inside there is an open plan living/dining area with two separate double bedrooms, bathroom with full size shower and domestic toilet, plus two double sofa beds. The upper deck is the perfect place to party, with a spacious entertaining area with covered outdoor seating for eight, a stainless steel barbecue, esky and sink. Islander Houseboat (35') 2 - four berthThe Ripples 'Islander' Houseboat is a 35' traditional two to four berth houseboat ideally suited for one or two couples or a small family. Sleeping areas can be separated with curtains. The Islander has a small dinette as well as a fully equipped galley with a sink, three or four burner stove, oven, grill and 460 cc fridge. The bathroom has a shower, vanity basin and normal flush toilet. On the back deck is a small barbecue with a full plate. A large ice box is secured to the sundeck, and the sundeck is fitted with wind protectors and a canopy. An outdoor table and six chairs are provided. The houseboat has a manual anchor system and a swim ladder. Resort Houseboat (45') 2 - ten berthThe Resort houseboat is a three level boat with lots of room to party. The lower level is a bedroom with two double berths, and the dinette can be closed off to create another double bedroom. The lounge at the front of the boat converts into a double berth, and there are also two single bunks. The kitchen has a four burner stove with a full size oven, and there is a four burner stainless steel barbecue on the back of the boat. The spacious bathroom has a shower, vanity basin and domestic type flushing toilet. Resort houseboats have electric anchor winches to make anchoring easy, and all boats have swim ladders as well as large canopies on the sundeck. | |
