Peppin Heritage Centre
The Peppin Heritage Centre is the Riverina's showcase of the sheep and rice
industry.
Come face to face with the big merino, a major part of Deniliquin's history,
or experience a school lesson with a "highly innovative" teacher in the
original George Street School room.
There are two 14-minute video's devoted to the rice growing and sheep
industries, which are available for viewing in the special theatre.
Other exhibits include a thatched roof ram shed, the story of the Headless
Horseman and a struggle for water exhibition.
