Lake Cooper Estate
Lake Cooper is a traditional breeding ground for the native Brolga, famous for its stunning courtship dance. Lake Cooper Estate produces an equally stunning range of richly textured wines that proudly proclaim their Heathcote origin.
The Heathcote Wine region is fast developing a reputation for producing some of Australia's finest wines. Paradoxically the reasons for the success of this 'new' region go back millions of years- the unique belt of red cambrian soil overlying broken rock provides an earth environment perfect for nurturing vines.
Lake Cooper Estate was established in 1998 by the McHarg Family. Perched on the northern end of the Mount Camel Range it overlooks Lake Cooper and the township of Corop.
