Ooraminna Station Homestead is located half an hour south of Alice Springs between the MacDonnell Ranges and the Simpson Desert, among red sand hills and rocky outcrops. Ooraminna offers an authentic outback cattle station experience. Rate is per person per night and includes a fully cooked breakfast and a hearty country evening meal.
Accommodation is in unique bush dwellings, each with private facilities or sleep in a comfortable swag under the stars. You can enjoy bushwalking, bird watching, take a cattle station tour or simply relax on the verandah.

Luxury Outback CabinsEnjoy the ultimate luxury in the outback set inside the Ooraminna Ranges with spectacular scenery. Watch the morning sunrise or the sunset from your own private verandah area. Each of the cabins includes your own private bathroom facilities with deep bath, queen size four poster bed made from local timber, heating or airconditioning, ceiling fans, private verandah and all walking distance from the main homestead where meals are served. Pioneer SuiteFor the adventurous, swag the night under a sky of a thousands stars. Sleep like the men do while on stock camp, be out in the bush and enjoy the peace and quiet while being mesmerised by an ink black, star studded night sky. Enjoy a camping experience where all equipment is supplied by Ooraminna Station Homestead, including the swag which is a bedroll with mattress, linen and blankets contained in a canvas envelope/bag. All camping sites have toilet and shower blocks for your convenience and tents are available for hire if required. This camping experience is only available by prior arrangement. Slab HutFor a taste of the outback in comfort, the Slab Hut is for you. Recreated from a photo of a pioneer's home, the wooden Slab Hut is located only a few metres from the main homestead. It is powered, with a queen size bed and single beds, has it's own bathroom and an open fireplace for winter warmth. The verandah and accompanying views are the perfect way to while away an afternoon. Stone Cottage Old JailThe authentic Old Gaol is located at the rear of the Police Station, and when combined with the Police Station is ideal for a family or group. It has two single beds with shared facilities. Stone Cottage Police StationThe Police Station is a unique and relaxing place to spend the night away from it all. Handcrafted with local stone, there is an open fireplace for winter warmth and airconditioning for summer. The Police Station has its own bathroom and room with king/single bedding. | |
