Mulga Camp

Mulga Camp is located in Section 2 of the Larapinta Trail. About a kilometre before you reach Mulga Camp, the trail passes a low rise where small dykes of whitish pegmatite outcrop from the brown schist. The camp is located on an alluvial creek flat and is shaded by a grove of tall mulga trees. Just westwards of Mulga Camp, the trail crosses a ridgeline that offers panoramic views of Mount Lloyd. There is no vehicle access to this camp site.

Section 2 of the Larapinta Trail is graded as medium - a narrow track which may be rough in places, with some climbing and descending, suitable for people who walk regularly.
