Native Gap Conservation Reserve

Native Gap Conservation Reserve, located 120 kilometres north of Alice Springs, is a registered Aboriginal sacred site. It also stands as a memorial to the Overland Telegraph Line which was constructed through the site.

The picnic area is fringed by Ironwood and Desert Bloodwood, providing both shade and shelter to visitors and the Short-beaked Echidna, known to inhabit the area.

Scenic views of the Hann Range can be enjoyed from the parking area, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy the scenic landscapes of Central Australia.
