Ranku-Bathurst Island-Tiwi Islands
Ranku is a small indigenous community of some 60 Tiwi Islanders on the far western side of Bathurst Island, (part of the Tiwi Islands), just a short hop from Darwin.
Exploring this destination is to experience an island paradise, that although off the beaten track has sights, experiences and photographic oppurtunities not found in other areas of the “Top End”.
Inexpensive and offering comfortable caravan accomadation we welcome all age groups from backpackers, eco tourists, the fishing fraternity, professional photographers or just your average beachcomber.
Exclusivity is all yours as we currently limit visitors to a single group with a maximum of 4 people.
Here is an opportunity to experience the “real deal” that will leave you with memories that will stay with you for a life time.
Where in Australia can you visit pristine beaches and landscapes that have not been encroached on by cane toads and the only cats are the twin hulled variety? Yet we are only a short 20 min flight or 1 1/2 hour ferry ride from Darwin!
