Pell Mell Farm Stay
Pell Mell Farmstay, just north of Adelaide River, is a typical bush property, coloured by picturesque salmon gums and habited by local wildlife and a herd of 40 doe-eyed Brahman cattle.
Stay in a spacious, yet cosy, cottage with an inviting, leaf-kissed veranda and two inviting bedrooms that have French Doors and wooden louvers opening out onto the balcony. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge area, so the cottage can sleep six.
Polished floorboards in the bedrooms and lounge area give a feeling of depth and warmth, while the communal kitchen and dining area is spacious and clean with all the required facilities. An extensive library is also available for the perusal of guests.
Wander through the bush, explore the fascinating WWII heritage sites on the property, watch the abundant birdlife and chat to your host, Jan Hills, a resident of the Northern Territory for 40 years and a font of knowledge of the history and ecology of the area.
