Pell Mell Farm Stay
Pell Mell Farmstay, just north of Adelaide River, is a 400 acre bush property, coloured by picturesque salmon gums and habited by local wildlife and a herd of 40 doe-eyed Brahman cattle.
Stay in a relaxing modern house which features an inviting, leaf-kissed veranda. The two bedrooms have French Doors and metal louvers opening out onto the balcony. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge area, so the cottage can sleep six.
Polished floorboards in the bedrooms and lounge area give a feeling of depth and warmth, while the communal kitchen and dining area is spacious and airy with all the required facilities. An extensive library is provided for the perusal of guests.
Wander through the bush, explore the fascinating WWII heritage sites on the property, watch the abundant birdlife and chat to your host, Jan Hills, a resident of the Northern Territory for 40 years and a font of knowledge of the history and ecology of the area.
Pell Mell Farmstay is closed for January and February each year.
