Litchfield Safari Camp
Situated outside the western edge of Litchfield National Park, in the Litchfield Touirsm Precinct, Litchfield Safari Camp is close to all the attractions in the park. The grassed, shady sites are suitable for mobile homes, caravans, tents, camper trailers or swags and accommodation is available with backpacker beds and safari cabins. The kiosk is open to help with the essentials and is a limited, licensed liquor outlet for guests only. The two safari cabins and ablution blocks include facilities for people with disabilities, dish washing sinks and coin operated washing machines. There are share-use eating areas with gas barbecues, wood barbecues and fire pots available and controlled pets are accepted. There are walking tracks accessible for the active so relax and revitalise in the above ground pool after a hard day of adventuring.

Backpacker BedsThe dormitory tents have a bedding configuration of either four single beds or two single beds. The tents have a carpeted floor, 240 volt power, a light, a fan and access to all communal facilities. Price quoted is per person. Powered SiteThere are powered sites available, each set on lush shaded and grassed areas, with access to power and water. Lower cost powered sites are fitted with 10 amp power supply breakers that may restrict the use of appliances with high power requirements. Safari CabinThe safari cabins are canvas, one room units with extra large zippered windows and insect screened doors. The ceiling has air vents and the floors are carpeted. They can sleeps either three people in single beds or three people in a single bed and one queen size bed. Linen and blankets are provided. The units have an ensuite, lights, a fan for comfort, power boards, their own outdoor and seat setting, and a gas barbecue as well as access to excellent shared facilities. Unpowered SiteThe unpowered sites are situated on grassed areas and have plenty of shade and water close by. | |
