SKYCITY Darwin invites you to experience the true taste of Italy at their newest restaurant – il Piatto. Translating as ‘the plate’ il Piatto welcomes guests for lunch and dinner every day.
Head chef Paolo Milanesi has created a diverse menu which showcases his belief in the best ingredients cooked to the traditions of ancient Italy. All of the pastas, breads and pizza doughs are handmade fresh, as are the selection of delicious desserts, even ice-creams and sorbets, and organic ingredients are used wherever possible.
The restaurant’s location on the Mindil Beach side of the casino building provides a stunning view of the ocean, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends, a glass of wine and the magnificent sunsets. The view from inside is just as impressive, with a show kitchen revealing the usually secret workings of the chefs.
