Darwin Barra Base offers complete Top End barramundi and bluewater fishing tours. With three custom built barra and bluewater fishing boats you will certainly experience the thrill of fishing for Australia’s premier sportsfish, the barramundi, along with targeting a large variety of hard fighting bluewater reef fish including jewfish, snapper, coral trout, red emperor and the pelagic fish species such as Spanish mackerel, queen fish and the giant trevally.
To seek out the barra, clients will be taken to some of the best fishing spots in the river systems, billabongs and lagoons of the Mary, Adelaide, Finniss, Howard and Elizabeth rivers. Clients also fish some of the Territory’s most remote locations including the Vernon Islands, Dundee Beach and Bynoe Harbour.
The operators know the region well and will design a tour to meet the needs of beginners and experienced anglers alike.
Barwin Barra Base now have three custom built boats and can cater for corporate groups up to 12 people.
