Darwin City ScenicEnjoy an exciting 30 minute scenic flight over tropical Darwin City, taking in Lee Point and the expansive Casuarina Beach, East Point and stunning Darwin Harbour with its surrounding mangroves, tranquil beaches and pristine estuaries and creeks. Darwin Regional ScenicTake this exciting one hour scenic flight from Darwin to the rich marine environment of Hope Inlet and Gunn Point looking north to the Vernon Islands. From here you'll fly along the winding Adelaide River to view vast open tropical wetlands and open plains teaming with birds and wildlife. Dundee Beach Fly and FishThis fly in/fly out fishing tour takes you to Dundee Beach for an unforgettable day of fishing in and around the rivers and reefs of picturesque Dundee Beach. Species targeted are coral trout, red emperor, golden snapper and the famous barramundi. Enjoy the views as your scenic flight takes you over Darwin City, Darwin Harbour and Bynoe Harbour. Tour includes flights, morning tea, lunch, full day barra and reef fishing charter, and all tackle and equipment. Please note – indicative rate quote is per person. There is a minimum of four people required for this tour to proceed. Kakadu Scenic FlightAfter leaving Darwin, you'll fly over the winding Adelaide River, over vast open plains and magnificent wetlands en-route to the stunning Kakadu National Park. As you appreciate the vastness of this magnificent national park, you will fly over the South Alligator River to spot crocodiles at low level, gaze at the Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls, before flying over the Yellow Water Cooinda Wetlands. Take advantage of a non-stop afternoon flight to capture the stunning views as the setting sun cloaks the Kakadu escarpment in hues of red, orange and purple. Katherine/Kakadu TourYou'll fly south over the Darwin River Dam and Ringwood Range heading for the Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) passing historic Pine Creek. Arriving at the gorge you will enjoy an included 15 minute helicopter scenic flight exploring the gorges of Nitmiluk National Park, showcasing sheer canyon walls of the escarpment area and breathtaking views of the surrounding flora and fauna. You then depart Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) and fly over the rugged escarpment of Kakadu. On your way to Cooinda you will see waterfalls, rivers and ravines. Upon arrival at the Kakadu National Park airport, you will have some free time to relax at the Gagadju Lodge Cooinda, either by the pool or in the bistro for a bite of lunch before taking the wonderful Yellow Water Cruise. After the Yellow Water Cruise, the flight back to Darwin includes the South Alligator River, Shady Camp and the Adelaide River and its wetlands. This tour operates from May to September only. | |
