Afternoon City Sights Tour

This half day tour is a great introduction to Darwin. You will visit several landmarks and attractions, including the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, the wharf precinct and Cullen Bay area. Your experienced guide provides an informative commentary including some fascinating facts on the culture and diversity of this tropical city. Finish off your day with a sunset cruise on the beautiful Darwin Harbour (optional extra).

City Sights Tour with Cruise

One of the best and most comprehensive Darwin City tour available. This tour is a perfect introduction to Darwin, with your experienced and knowledgeable guide providing an informative and interesting commentary. Join this tour in the afternoon and see the Chinese Temple and the lush George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. Tour the historic sites of the city including the East Point Military Precinct. See the Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin. There is also time available to explore the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory. Jumping Crocodile Cruise Tour

This tour departing from Darwin allows you to discover the unique fauna of the Northern Territory. Join the famous Jumping Crocodile cruise on the Adelaide River, where a local guide will entice the crocodiles to leap out of the water. Visit the Window on Wetlands display to gain insight into the workings of a wetland habitat and explore the intricate waterways of Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. These locations provide sanctuaries for crocodiles, turtles, birds, wild horses, wallabies and other wildlife.

Litchfield National Park

Leaving Darwin, you follow the Stuart Highway via the township of Batchelor to Litchfield National Park. Visiting the main falls of the park, you have the opportunity for scenic and interpretive bush and monsoon vine forest walks. View Florence Falls from a high vantage point before making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below, with an opportunity to swim, making your way back via the monsoon forest and open woodland. Visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water cascading down to the deep waterhole below. You venture to Wangi Falls for another opportunity for a swim in the large crystal clear pool and an optional steady climb through the rainforest to the top of the falls. A great day also for taking many interesting photos, including the amazing stand of Termite Mounds. Lunch is at the Monsoon Cafe – a Litchfield institution. Territory Wildlife Park and Cruise

This world class, award winning park is set in 400 hectares of natural bushland and home for the largest collection of Territory Wildlife. You have four hours to explore the many exhibits in the park including the nocturnal house, the aquarium with viewing tunnel, aviaries, bird of prey display and more. Choose to move around the park in your own time or accompany your guide for an informative overview of the habitats and wildlife of the Top End. For your return journey to Darwin, board the specially designed vessel ‘Snubfin' for the 1.5 hour trip back through Darwin Harbour to Stokes Hill Wharf. This exhilarating boat ride takes you down the Blackmore River, taking in the history, habitat and intrigue of the Top End mangrove environment. As your journey takes you back to Stokes Hill Wharf you will visit the site of the historic leprosaria, and see the watery grave of Darwin Harbour's oldest known shipwreck.
