Crocodylus Park

Crocodylus Park – is the flagship of Wildlife Management International Pty Limited (WMI), an Australian wildlife research and consulting company with over 30 years of national and international experience in all aspects of wildlife research, conservation, management and sustainable use. WMI was established in 1978 by Professor Grahame Webb, one of Australia's best known zoologists.

In 1994, WMI opened Crocodylus Park, and added tourism and public education as a major WMI commercial activity. Although it started as a crocodile research and education centre, it has now expanded to become Darwin's only zoo with exotic and native animals.

Crocodylus Park is only five minutes from Darwin Airport. It is the headquarters of WMI, but is also one of Darwin's premier tourist attractions, in which visitors get the excitement of being up-close and personal with crocodiles, to feed and hold them, while learning all about them through a comprehensive crocodile museum and free guided crocodile feeding and educational tours.

Meet some of the largest reptiles on the planet and watch as these awesome creatures propel half to three quarters of their body, out of the water, for a tasty snack. For those who are feeling adventurous, there is a chance that you may be able to assist with feeding a crocodile. Your tour guide will take you on a journey of discovery as you learn about crocodiles, monkeys, lions, tigers and much more. At the end of the tour there is an option to hold a baby crocodile. After the tour, wander through the crocodile museum, stroll around the park at your leisure or grab a bite to eat. Tours run at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 3.30pm.
