Davidson's Arnhemland Safaris
Mt Borradaile is a region of vast sub-tropical savannah that has been described as a national treasure trove, and is situated in the northwest corner of Arnhemland. Access to the safari camp is usually by air charter from either Darwin or Jabiru, ensuring small and intermit groups.
Activities include visiting Aboriginal rock art sites, some of which have been dated as originating an incredible 50 thousand years in the past, getting close to crocodiles, watching brolgas dance or simply wandering through a superb pristine wilderness.
Davidson’s Arnhemland Safari’s emphasis is on conservation of the cultural and natural environment and the few days that you spend with Davidson’s Arnhemland Safaris could be among your most memorable one.
The Mt Borradaile area is Aboriginal land, where previously there was no public access. In the 1980s, with the blessing of the traditional owners, Max and Philippa Davidson set up a safari camp and air strip.
