2 Day Gove Snapshot - 1 nightYour adventure begins with a visit to the lookout on Nhulun (Mt Saunders) which is a registered sacred site, and where you can read the story of the Creation Ancestor Wuyal, known as the Sugarbag Man. You'll browse the Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre and Museum and experience the art, culture and history of the local Yolngu people. Many beautiful local art and craft pieces are available for sale. If the opportunity is available, you may be able sit and talk with some of the local Yolngu people. Enjoy a morning's bluewater fishing aboard MV Nomad the next day, and afterwards you'll go ashore at Bremer Island to have lunch of ‘Catch of the day' and salad at their island retreat. This afternoon you are free to beach comb, explore or swim at this exclusive paradise. If the local Yolngu people are available it may be possible to catch up and meet them during the afternoon.
