Kakadu Animal Tracks
Join a real safari, with an outstanding reputation, run by a small family-owned business.
Safari to Kakadu Animals Tracks exclusive-access, wildlife-rich area of 170 kilometres square in the heart of Kakadu. You’ll be searching for wildlife and discovering facets of Aboriginal bush life, including bush foods, medicines and fibres. They provide extensive natural and cultural interpretation, and wildlife highlights include buffalo and the amazing Gindjala Wetland (Goose Camp), where from late June to September you may witness one of the largest bird gatherings in Australia.
Kakadu Animal Tracks Safari, regretfully, may not be joined by an Aboriginal guide this year, but their non-Aboriginal guides are extremely experience in wildlife and local Aboriginal culture.
Tour sales fund a bush meat supply to the local Aboriginal people.

At sunset they make a camp fire at a beautiful remote location where you'll enjoy piping hot billy tea, fresh damper and relax to an amazing Kakadu sunset watching animals on the move. Kakadu Animal Tracks advise that you bring a hat, small water bottle and insect repellent, and to wear long, loose clothing for protection against the sun and insects.
