Daly River Mango Farm

Mangoes thrive in the tropical climate of the Top End. The Daly River Mango Farm is an established tourist park located 230 kilometres from Darwin on the west bank of the Daly River. The region is renowned for its excellent barramundi fishing and has some of the oldest mango trees in the Territory.

A three kilometre bush walk through the property leads to the ruins of the Jesuit Mission, built in 1886, making it one of the earliest settlements on the Daly with some of the remains still visible. The main homestead is a Sydney Williams hut.

The tourist park is a terrific place to relax, offering accommodation, caravan and camping grounds under a shade canopy created by a grove of huge 90 year old mango trees. There are river cruises available, or why not hire a boat, or take a guided fishing trip. Other facilities include a boat ramp, pontoons, bar and bistro, a swimming pool and a camp kitchen.
