3 Day Kakadu Camping SafariExplore a rugged and beautiful wilderness on this three day camping tour of Kakadu National Park. Visit spectacular gorges and swim in rocky plunge pools, stroll through monsoon rainforests, see unique native flora and fauna in dynamic wetland habitats and view Aboriginal cultural sites, including ancient rock art. By night you can sit below a canopy of stars and relax in scenic surrounds. 5 Day Jatbula TrailFrom Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge) to Leliyn / Edith Falls, the Jatbula Trail is an ancient ‘Song Line' used by the traditional Aboriginal people of the area to gain access into different parts of the land. It covers lowland river and creek country, hillsides dotted with dry land eucalypts, higher escarpment country overlooking the Seventeen Mile Valley and beyond. You will hike between 10 to 17 kilometres per day with an experienced guide, where each afternoon brings about a different pool or spa to sit back and relax in. Your specialized, small group will visit some of the aboriginal art along the trail, with each day presenting a new set of challenges, from river crossings to hill climbs (nothing too big mind). There will be flat open country on the top of the escarpment and boggy wet country along the creeks that we follow – experience something new around every corner. Jatbula touring is all inclusive. Please quote JT5 when booking. | |
