Crocodile Night Adventure/Wildlife Evening Dinner Cruise

Departs from the historic Springvale Homestead for an evening wildlife cruise with your experienced guide. Marvel at the star filled skies, unspoiled by city lights. Wonder at the glorious reflections, joining the riverbank and water as one. The darkness of the night offers much to those with keen eyes. Spotlight the freshwater crocodiles, owls, wallabies and other nocturnal animals, their bright eyes reflecting any light in the night. Your guide will light a campfire and call the crocodiles for photographs. Swap conversations with fellow travellers and then enjoy a bushman's meal served with billy tea, wine and cordial. Board your boat to cruise back to the jetty around 9.30pm. It is recommended you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is approximately a 600 metre walk through sand. Please bring a lightweight jacket with you, as the evenings can be cool.

Katherine and Kakadu

After departing Darwin you'll head for Katherine, where upon arrival you will be transferred to Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine Gorge). Before boarding your afternoon two hour gorge cruise, there's time to visit the Nitmiluk Centre. The next two days will take you in to the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park, where you will enjoy a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, view magnificent scenery and abundant wildlife, and view the amazing rock art at Nourlangie Rock and Ubirr. Katherine Half Day Tour

Departing your Katherine accommodation you'll visit the Katherine Museum followed by lunch at the Pine Tree Motel. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing swim at the Katherine Hot Springs, then on to the Springvale Homestead for an afternoon tea and a historical tour of the oldest standing homestead in the Northern Territory. The rest of the afternoon will be spent visiting other local attractions of Katherine.

This is a great way to see Litchfield National Park on your way to Katherine. After being picked up from your accommodation, you'll travel to Litchfield National Park and view the magnetic termite mounds, the magnificent water falls of Tolmer, Wangi and Florence, and the truly beautiful Buley Rockhole. Enjoy lunch and a swim at Wangi Falls before continuing on to Katherine via the Township of Adelaide River.
