Marksie's Stockman's Camp Tucker Night
Marksies Stockmans Camp Tucker Night is a unique dining and entertainment experience set in the tranquil surroundings of the Katherine Outback Museum grounds. Dine by the camp fire of a traditional Territory stock camp which includes many displays. Relax in comfortable seating and table arrangements under the clear, bright sky amid Northern Territory wildlife. Enjoy a traditional camp oven meal where the food is prepared over a bed of hot coals. Beef, lamb or marinated kangaroo meat, served with coal-fire vegetables and mint peas. Serviced with a number of savoury dampers, gem scones and gum leaf billy tea - it will be an experience you will remember.
Bring your own drinks and after a delicious, hearty meal, sit back and enjoy the humurous yarns and stories of the local area and some of its noted characters by your host, raconteur Geoff Mark. Dinners are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday only through April to October.
