Renner Springs Desert Inn
Renner Springs Desert Inn is located 160 kilometres north of Tennant Creek and 500 kilometres south of Katherine. The inn was named in honour of Dr Frederick Renner, medical officer to the men working on the Overland Telegraph Line who discovered the springs when he noticed flocks of birds converging in the area.
The area is rich in history and the lagoon and spring support a large range of the Territory’s natural bird life including brolga, galah, owl, duck, pelican, honeyeater and bustard. Renner Springs takes pride in the level of service and quality of product it delivers and clientele can be assured of a memorable experience of hospitality and a little bit of desert magic whenever they visit.
