Follow Uncle’s footsteps off the beaten track and dive into the beauty of Australian isolations at Curtin Springs Station, which is located 100 kilometres east of Uluru / Ayers Rock on the Lasseter Highway. Here lays another amazing landmark known as Atila / Mount Conner, a flat top mountain three times the size of Uluru / Ayers Rock and is situated on the Curtin Springs Station. Allow Ian Barker, an experienced and local guide and stockman, to take you on a journey unlike any other.
There are salt lakes which are part of the Lake Amadeus Salt lake chain and 3.5 billion year old fossils, stromatolites. These are just a few of the sights you will visit whilst learning about the workings of a cattle station, the flora and fauna of the area and bush tucker and medicine.

Half Day TourThis tour takes you to the southern part of the station, where you will see the salt lakes and Atila / Mount Conner, and highlights more of the scenic and historical aspects of Curtin Springs cattle station. Sunset TourTravel out to Atila / Mount Conner to watch the spectacular colour changes as the sun sets. Please allow approximately 2.5 hours for this tour. Uncles Bush CampUncles Bush Camp is located on the south eastern side of Atila / Mount Conner. The camp facilities has two sets of bush toilets and limited water for washing up. A fire place for cooking and a bough shed for shelter, as well as a great view that is awaiting you. Only one group is allowed in at any one time, so enjoy your privacy fully, away from the masses of tourism. | |
